Mathew Politano, volunteer installation designer, hangs a painting in preparation for the Big Island Plein Air exhibit that opened with a reception Friday at the Wailoa Center in Hilo. More than 30 artists contributed to the exhibit, a display of more than 150 works painted on location in Hawaii. Big Island Plein Air runs until June 29.
